We’re Matteo & Loredana, and Umbria is home—not just a place we work.

We grew up with these hills, lakes, and stone streets. We know which towns empty out in winter, which neighborhoods are quietly perfect, and which festivals are worth planning a trip around. We also know how the “invisible” systems work: banks, utilities, local offices, and the network of people you eventually need—like notaries, agents, and craftspeople.

With you, our role is to:

• Open doors to the real Umbria.  We love introducing you to places and people that don’t show up in glossy brochures: the bar where everyone actually goes in the morning, the woman who runs the best tiny trattoria, the olive producer who will happily spend an hour explaining his harvest.
  
• Design calm, thoughtful experiences. We plan days that feel like a realistic sample of life here, not a rushed tour. That might mean visiting a couple of towns, tasting local food and wine, and leaving space to sit, watch, and simply feel how a place lands for you.
  
• Bridge language and culture. We’re bilingual and comfortable in both worlds. We can explain what’s happening in plain English, and also help locals understand what matters to you as Americans.
  
• Connect you to trusted professionals. When you’re ready, we’ll make introductions to carefully chosen local experts. You’re still in charge of your decisions—we simply make sure you’re not walking into them blind.
